Museum Night

As part of Museums Night in Cologne, my class at KISD created an immersive walk-through exhibition exploring the unsettling dynamics of a fictional family. I worked on the study room, designing props and set pieces that revealed hidden details when triggered by a blacklight. The project was a mix of world-building, prop design, and interactive storytelling for a public audience.

Scale

For the BioDesign Challenge, our team imagined a health company producing futuristic wound-healing patches. We built a range of props to visualize this speculative product, using laser cutting and gel materials to prototype the designs. The project balanced science-fiction storytelling with practical model-making.

Nang Chair

For a sustainability brief, I collaborated on the design and build of the ‘Nang Chair,’ a quirky folding seat constructed from recycled nitrous oxide canisters collected at music festivals. We welded the frame and integrated the canisters as both structure and visual statement, turning waste into playful design.

Bumbag

I designed a set of experimental bumbags for a product design project. One was built to house a subwoofer wired to a phone, allowing DJs and producers to feel club-like bass without audible noise. The second was a cyberpunk-style prototype, combining hand-sewn fabric with 3D-printed elements to explore wearable tech concepts.

Hexiled

Hexiled is a custom tabletop board game I designed, featuring a modular hex-based board, original mechanics, and a mobile app companion. I developed the full set of terrain, tokens, and miniature sculpts, blending digital workflows with traditional painting and prototyping. The project allowed me to combine my interest in world-building, game systems, and miniature design into a single playable experience.

Miniatures & Sculpting

I’ve designed, sculpted, and painted a variety of miniatures, focusing on custom characters, proxies, and unique creature designs. Many were digitally sculpted in ZBrush or Blender to be 3D printed at tabletop scale, requiring exaggerated details and stylized forms that translate well into physical models. I also hand-painted and finished pieces, exploring both fine detail work and broader terrain building for wargaming.

Busstop Set Model

Commissioned to create a 1:25 scale model for Bus Stop, an upcoming play developed by Kelton Peel and collaborators about the history of Busselton. The model featured a moveable cyc curtain and 3D-printed set pieces and figures, allowing the directors to choreograph scenes and refine the stage dimensions. The green foliage elements represented peppermint tree branches, which in the full production will form trees as the curtain bunches together.
